Since it’s inevitable for one person to avoid eating at fast food chains, I’ll start a themed post called Fast Food Eats wherein I review what I ate at the fast food chains. Let’s start with Wendy’s Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger.
Wendy’s Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger is the newest burger in Wendy’s menu. This burger has 100% U.S. beef patty, strips of bacon, melted cheddar cheese, smoky honey mustard, unmelted cheddar cheese, onions, tomato and lettuce housed in a soft pretzel bun.
I find this burger to be expensive compared to other burgers that you buy in fast food chains. At P158 a la carte and P198 for the burger with regular fries and drink, it’s expensive for its size. As for the taste, it’s surprisingly good. I love the taste of the patty with the melted cheddar cheese and honey mustard. It’s a little messy to eat since the melted cheddar cheese and honey mustard drips with every bite. There are plenty of bacon strips as well. Although I liked the entire burger, I still prefer their original buns. I find that the pretzel bun is on the chewy side.
I think everybody burger-loving foodie should give it a try at least once.
