Happy Chinese New Year! Since Chinese New Year fell on a Friday, I will be featuring a dim sum restaurant for this week’s Fab Food Finds Fridays post. Ever since I tried Causeway dim sum, I keep on craving for their dim sum. I’ve tried eating at two different branches so far. One in Congressional Ave. and the other in Banawe. All instances that I ate in Causeway, we made sure that we’re within the discounted 48-Peso dim sum.
A couple of weeks I was browsing at different group-buying sites for places to eat at around Manila that wouldn’t be too harsh on my budget. I stumbled upon Kulinarya Experience and immediately bought two vouchers for me and my boyfriend. I chose Robinsons Place Manila since it’s more convenient for us to go their.
I finally had the chance to eat at Pino Resto Bar in Malingap St. this January. Looking at their menu, I had a hard time ordering since I wanted to try all of their dishes. But I settled for the much raved about Kare-Kareng Bagnet.
I recently found out that Cupcakes by Sonja has a branch in Trinoma. I’ve been waiting for their branch to open at SM North Edsa without even knowing that they’re already open for business at Trinoma. Since everybody is raving about Cupcakes by Sonja’s Red Velvet Vixen, I decided to go there and buy one.
It’s Tuesday again and it’s time for Tea Time Tuesdays. For this week I’ll talk about Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf’s Earl Grey Tea.
Happy Monday! Let’s start the week with food that you can grab and eat with your morning coffee or tea.
Remember my post about Dunkin’ Donuts Kani Wasabi Croissant? Well, I came back to our nearest Dunkin’ Donuts so I could try their Hungarian Sausage Egg & Cheese Bagel and Chicken Clubhouse in Cranberry Bread. They have so much breakfast sandwich you could choose from aside from their bunwich and croissant sandwich.
Serenitea recently launched new snacks which got me so excited since I love their Chicken Chop and Pepper Tofu.
The new snacks include:
Chicken Chop: Western, Formosa, Thai Pepper
Chicken Wings: Mexican Spice, Oriental Spice, Italian Spice
Corn Sticks: Cheese, Curry, Wasabi
Brownies Unlimited recently released new brownie flavors so I decided to buy a pre-assorted box of 6 which costs P120. The pre-assorted box of 6 costs more than the usual box of 6 brownies because of the new flavors. The new flavors from Brownies Unlimited include: Mississippi, Walnut Swirl, Sunburst, Red Velvet, S’mores, and Choc O’ Malt.
When I saw Celestial Seasonings’ Decaf Mandarin Orchard Green Tea at SM Hypermarket, I knew I just had to buy it. I love the picture on the box although I’m not quite sure what the ducks represent.
We headed over at Robinsons Place Manila to finally try Uncle Cheffy’s panizza. I was able to buy a voucher from one of the top group buying sites in the Philippines for only P399 which originally costs P495 for the most expensive flavor.
